Hi Everyone,
We’ve reached April 10th, and today’s themes are all about nurturing—our relationships, our mindset, and even the next generation of talent.
Here’s your celebration roadmap for today:
- The Family Connection: It’s National Siblings Day! Whether they are your best friend or the person who used to steal your clothes, give your brothers or sisters a shout-out. No siblings? Today is the perfect day to celebrate those "chosen family" friends who have been with you through thick and thin.
- The Mental Reset: Today is National Erase Self-Negativity Day. We are often our own harshest critics. Today’s mission is simple: every time a "self-burn" or a doubt pops into your head, consciously replace it with a win. Be as kind to yourself as you would be to a friend.
- The Creative Spark: It’s Encourage a Young Writer Day. Know a kid with a big imagination or a teen who’s always journaling? Send them a quick note of encouragement. A few words of praise today could be the reason they write a masterpiece tomorrow.
- The Barnyard Shout-out: Happy National Farm Animals Day! From the hardworking honeybee to the classic dairy cow, today we appreciate the animals that keep our food systems moving. (It’s also a great excuse to watch a few funny goat videos for a "mental health" break!)
- The Pastry Prize: Finally, celebrate National Cinnamon Crescent Day. There is nothing quite like the smell of cinnamon and warm dough. Whether you bake them from a tube or grab one from the bakery, it’s the official snack of the day.
The April 10th Challenge: Send a text to a sibling, a compliment to yourself, and a word of praise to a young writer. You’ll hit three national days before lunch!
How are you planning to celebrate today?
